Over a decade ago, a dear friend traveled to
The Tucson Gem and Mineral Show and brought back a single Himalayan singing bowl which she lovingly was guided to pack in her carry on. She owns a
metaphysical store and intuitively knew one of her

customers needed this sacred tool. 

I had never played a singing bowl before, but as soon as
I saw this bowl displayed in her shop, I knew with every ounce of my being, it was mine! I picked up the bowl and began playing it like I had been reunited with an old friend. We became one; the bowl serenading me like a long-lost love. In that instance, I knew this was a tool which was sent by the universe to awaken my sound healing journey.   

Once I learned how the bowl wanted to work with me,
I manifested an opportunity to implement that vision.
A colleague held a weekly morning meditation group,
so I asked if I could play my bowl
for the group during her guided meditation portion.
What transpired was the beginning of
my apprenticeship with the bowl. 

 

A few weeks into our collaboration, the facilitator of the group called me excitedly to share some feedback she received. She said one of her students had noticed some dramatic shifts, not only her meditative practice, but in
her life.  She said, "that bowl is MAGIC!"  It enabled her to go not only more deeply into a meditative state, but receive heightened messages and experience more vivid imagery.
Over time, others noticed they left feeling a lightness
in their energy as if an energetic cleansing had occurred.

 

The bowl and I were onto something here!  I knew this was just beginning of my understanding of how sound has the ability to raise our vibration, clear energetic clutter thus aiding in the expansion of consciousness.
